Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.The work model for the role is:onsite #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the business controlling team in Turgi, Aargau, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Motion division.Get a head-start in your business- and finance career by joining us as business controlling student worker. With your business-oriented analytical and collaborative skills you can contribute to our continued profitable growth journey. You will be mainly accountable for:• You support the business controlling team with various tasks relating to the business controlling function such as monthly closing, reporting and ad hoc analysis• Based on your profile and performance you can take on more comprehensive areas of responsibilities to for example support department heads in their planning and business controls related topics • You run various continuous improvement projects with focus on digitalization and automation
Qualifications for the role
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in Business Administration or Engineering studies
- You are at ease communicating in English and German
- Experience with Office package or other IT tools are favorable
- Familiarity with SAP, specifically the FI-CO modules, is a plus
- You enjoy working with people and have strong communication skills
- You hold a current valid VISA/work permit for Switzerland or a confirmation for a mandatory internship from your university
